疲労におけるニオイの効果
ニオイで疲労を回復させる
Purpose of Research
ニオイが及ぼす生体への影響効果を解明する人間の五感の一つである「嗅覚」。人間はニオイによって「快」「不快」を感じたり、疲労したりリラックスしたりする。疲労過程の回復の早さなど、ニオイが及ぼす生体への影響や効果が、どのようなニオイ（物質）によって起こるのかということを解明する。
Summary of Research
環境測定室にて体温の変化呼吸中の成分の分析・評価ニオイによる人間の作業効率の変化や疲労回復の早さを調べるために、筋電図を使った電気的な変化や、サーモグラフィを使った体温の変化、さらには呼吸中の成分を分析し、熱量の発生を調べてニオイの違いによる効果を評価・検証している。ニオイの感覚は温度や湿度、視覚などの環境条件によって変化してしまうので、環境を一定に保つために環境測定室内にて実験する。
