錆と摩耗に強いステンレス球状炭化物鋳鉄材料の研究
Purpose of Research
鉄系素材鉄系材料の耐摩耗性と防錆性を挙げることにより,長寿命化すること。耐食性のある18-8ステンレス鋼がよく知られていますがこのステンレス鋼よりもさらに錆びにくく,磨耗しにくいタフな鉄系材料が求められている。
Summary of Research
ステンレス組成に炭素とパナジウムを添加ステンレス球状炭化物鋳鉄は18-8ステンレス組成に炭素とパナジウム(V)を添加し,溶けた状態で特殊な溶湯処理を施すことにより,超高硬度で,炭素との結合性の高い球状のパナジウム炭化物(VC)をオーステナイト基地に晶出・分散させて,ステンレス球状炭化物鋳鉄を作ることができた。
